Electrified Track (sometimes referred to as a “shock strip”) bird deterrent system is effective against all species of birds to deter them from loafing, roosting and/or landing on ledges at all pressure levels. Electrified Track is recommended for high pressure or high visibility situations. Because the Electrified Track is 1/4″ inches in height, it is not highly visible. The Electrified Track is comprised of two stainless steel cable conductors embedded in an ultraviolet stable PVC compound. The track is supplied with a high voltage, low ampere intermittent pulse from a solar powered unit. Birds are not harmed by the charge, but are conditioned not to return to the treated areas.
